Mike Mitchell - Mondo Gallery Solo Artshow
Last friday at the Mondo Gallery in Austin, Texas was the premiere of what may be, to my opinion, one of the best pop culture related artshows I’v ever seen. I’m a big fan of Mike Mitchell’s work, and you may have seen a some of his work in those pages, but this time he went beyond everything I’ve ever seen of him. This gallery of portraits of heroes of pop culture movies is incredible. I hope to show you guys more pics of the premiere, but here comes the whole series below. Vendredi dernier à la galerie Mondo d’Austin, Texas a eu lieu le vernissage de ce qui est de mon point de vue l’une des plus belles expos jamais consacrée à la pop culture et au cinéma de genre. Je suis un grand fan du travail de Mike Mitchell, dont vous avez pu apercevoir le travail dans certaines de ses pages, mais je dois avouer que là, le monsieur s’est surpassé. Ses portraits de héros de la pop cultures sont absolument fantastiques, pleins de vie, et capturent pour moi l’essence de ces personnages à merveille.
